Jason Harmon is a Project Superintendent who joined us in early 2017. Originally from Missouri, Jason migrated to central Texas in 2014 with his wife and two boys. He graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Construction Management in 2013; he also earned his Masters in Project Management from Missouri State University in 2017. Jason’s management experience includes his time as an infantry machine gunner in the Marine Corps with a combat deployment, OSHA certification, and 12 years in construction management. Originally getting his start in construction with the custom home building industry, he successfully managed his family-owned company to create wonderful environments for his clients to live in.
Jason believes attention to detail is crucial to the successful completion of any project. During the day he can be seen critiquing every trades work, asking them clarifying questions on their techniques, and requiring the upmost adherence to “doing it right the first time.” He enjoys customer interaction and is happy to educate clients on the how’s and why’s of the construction approach to their future home. General Mattis once said, “The most important six inches on the battlefield is the space between your ears,” and Jason has taken this to heart in his work; many times you can find him on the job site analyzing and strategizing on how to approach a situation in a better manner.
In what free time he has remaining, Jason enjoys spending as much time with his family as possible. Teaching his young boys how to turn a wrench at home, throw a ball on the field, and understanding the golden rule is where he finds the most enjoyment. He is a commander for the Royal Rangers at Victory Assembly of God in Universal City, and is a head coach at TEAM Youth Football in New Braunfels.
