DIAMANTE’S RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS
Our DIAMANTE HOMES family is just that – a family made up of our employees and our clients that we serve. The health, safety and overall well-being of our family, and yours, is always our top priority.
We have been closely monitoring the rapidly-changing situation around COVID-19, responding to new information as it arises and preparing for all possible scenarios, with the goal of continuing to safely serve you in your homes. With that in mind, it’s important that I share some of the steps we at DIAMANTE HOMES are taking to ensure the health and safety of our clients, employees, and visitors.
As this is a quickly evolving situation, we have already implemented certain protocols at our job sites and our offices and are closely monitoring for updates so we can make necessary changes with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and local public health agencies.
Out of an abundance of caution, we have taken the following steps beyond our usual high standards:
We are increasing the strength and frequency of cleaning and sanitization in all areas of our office and showroom.
We have instituted a rigorous disinfecting and sanitation process at our office and job sites.
If you feel sick, please stay home! If you suspect any symptoms matching COVID-19, please see your physician immediately. Watch for fever, headache, and coughing. Please continually monitor your health to identify early signs as quickly as possible
Social distancing: As much as possible, please attempt to maintain a distance from other people of at least 6 feet.
Cover coughs and sneezes! They are suspected as one of the highest means of spread.
Please use your arm or shoulder to quickly cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing. Wash hands immediately if you accidentally use your hand to cover. Throw away any used tissue in a trash bin immediately.
- Handshakes (and other physical contact): I am big on the shaking of hands as greeting. However, I will be adopting the “Elbow Bump” approach to a greeting. I suggest you do the same.
Don’t touch your face. Seriously, as much as you possibly can, avoid scratching or rubbing that itch (this is a tough one!).
Hand washing stations will be positioned on all job-sites near the porta-potty starting on 03/16/2020. Please utilize this station to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds each time, as follows:
- When entering the job site
- Entering and leaving the restroom
- Before and after eating
- When leaving the job site
- Do not share tools! Please use only tools you have touched. If sharing is needed, clean the handles of tools with a sterilizing wipe before use.
- We are placing notices on all project sites along with informative videos instructions to personnel. We are enforcing strict compliance and it is accompanied by regular observation and reminders. Everyone’s vigilance is necessary and appreciated.
To our potential clients:
I am still planning on keeping all of my initial consultation appointments. As mentioned above, I will be adopting the “Elbow Bump” approach to a greeting. I will use hand sanitizer before and after meetings and/or meet virtually if that is more comfortable. I will also not be touching any of the surfaces and door knobs in your home. If I experience ANY of the symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, I will cancel all appointments IMMEDIATELY! I hope that this puts you at ease and we can continue to plan your dream home.
To our current clients:
We realize your future home is an active jobsite. You also can help protect our team as we help protect you by making virtual job site visits as well as coordinating visits with your supervisor. We have incorporated hand washing stations and hand sanitizer at each jobsite to help mitigate the spread of germs. Your health, safety, and overall comfort are our top priorities. We want to make sure your home is a safe environment for everyone.
If there are any issues, questions, or illness suspicions, please don’t hesitate to call me at 210-341-6430
The health and safety of our clients and employees is and always will be our top priority, and we will continue to take whatever steps may be necessary to ensure we are doing our part to keep the community healthy. Thank you in advance, everyone, for following this protocol. Together we can keep moving forward, be comfortable, be healthy, and help each other to make a good living.
As always, thank you for being a member of the DIAMANTE HOMES family!
