Design Build Team
Adam Sanchez- Owner
When he couldn’t find anyone to build him a house, Adam Sanchez took matters into his own hands and built the house himself. This experience in 1991 led Adam to leave a career in the financial field and open Diamante Custom Homes. Born and raised in San Antonio, Adam studied Finance at Texas State University and after college Adam started working at Trans Union where he excelled to become one of the most successful in his region. Beginning to interview builders to build his own home in 1991, Adam quickly found that the customer service was not up par with his needs. “There were never any update calls and they never met any deadlines!” One day Adam was on the way to a mortgage company to get an appraisal ordered and the builder called and said the plans were not ready yet. “At that point I told him to forget it and that I was going to build the home myself.” Adam wants to ensure that all of our clients never experience the same problems he faced when he was ready to build. Adam currently sits on the Board of Directors at the Greater San Antonio Builders Association and is the co-founder of the Texas Custom Builders Guild. After 20 years building homes the Design/Build process seems stronger than ever.
